She now practices as a nutritional therapist, running clinics in Chandlers Ford and Stubbington in Hampshire, seeing a wide range of problems.

The effects of essential fatty acids on learning and behaviour
Dr Portwood will present details of her current research into the effects of fatty-acid supplementation on the behaviour and learning of children. One of her recent studies was featured on Diet Doctors screened December 2007 on Channel 5.
